combining items HELP ME!? - Guild Wars Forums

I found out that with salvage kits I am able to make some items craftable. What does it mean? How can I craft or combine items? Where can I buy crafting kit (or what is it)?

Oh and in those catacombs how do i get past the flame gaysers without some summoning spell?

I'm new to the game but I can tell you that merchants sell salvage and expert salvage kits. When you salvage an item you will end up with craftable items like iron ingots. When you speak with a weapons merchant he can make weapons for you using craftable items. Same goes with the armor merchant.

Craft....you can pretty much salvage items from gear and such by using a salvage kit. A little later in the game you will be able to buy expert salvage kits that you want to use on your better stuff. You cannot craft per se .

You have to trigger the flame geysers with summoned horrors...that is the easiest way. Or you can set them off.....die....and run back from the rez station. There is no penalty to dying at this point in the game.
